Week 12

I don't have as much time this week, so this one will be short and sweet.  With the Ddy's win, no teams have yet been eliminated!  Two weeks from the playoffs and, at least mathematically, every single team still could potentially make it to the show.  While the top 5 teams are more or less established with 7 wins or more, that last wildcard spot is still up for grabs.

Week 11

There aren't many worse feelings in fantasy than being the 2nd highest scoring team, and still losing.  I got season 1 championship flashbacks from that one.  A couple more teams joined the Ddys in being eliminated from bye contention, though nobody is yet outright eliminated from playoffs so that's pretty cool.  That being said, as we head toward the final three weeks of the regular season it's the time where teams will start dropping off.

Week 10

While not yet eliminated from playoff contention, the BgDkDdys are now the first team unable to earn a playoff bye week this season.  On the other side of things, The TDs winning streak finally came to an end at the hands of ACL, tying the two teams at 7-2 each.  Meanwhile the E-Munnies have been continuing their climb up from the dredges, with a 5th consecutive win, bringing them only a game away from division lead.

Week 9

I guess it didn't matter whether I talked shit or sung their praises, Land O'Nutts just does what they want.  Pulling off the "upset", they've worked their way to a tenuous playoff spot, and put an end to ACL's 6 game winning streak.  Losses from the Ddys and bEARs have resulted in a 3-way tie for last place along with the unfortunate Zombies.  Those teams are starting to fall out of it, so will need to make some major changes if they still want a chance at playoffs this season.

Week 8

ACL and the TDs continue to pull away, and while they haven't guaranteed themselves the bye quite yet, it's looking more and more likely they will be the two to sit out week 14.  But the big news is that congratulations are in order!  The Zombies pulled off their second win of the season!  Which actually puts them only a game behind the wildcard running.  Never say never, fellas.

Week 7

ACL and TDs continue to break away from the rest of their respective divisions, but everyone else is still very much in the hunt, (yep, even you, Zombies).  The 3-way tie in Colorexico should make for some riveting rivalries as we head into the second half of the season.  Meanwhile in Newizona only a single game separates the bottom 4 teams.

Week 6

Another week, another former champion defeated by Land O'Nutts.  I think I need to stop talking about them as though they are underdogs, they just keep winning!  The Futures are also starting to look as good as they were three years ago, meanwhile the E-Munnies continue to be the second highest point scorer while sitting at the bottom of their division.  They'll hope their recent win indicates a change as we approach the midpoint of the season.
