Week 14

A season that remained competitive all the way til the end is something to be proud of, but now it's time for the big dance.  Byes are set, and six teams remain to battle it out for the trophy!

Week 13 Review

The Futures put up a valiant effort trying to sneak in to that last playoff spot, but they fell short.  Even Tyreek's monster game couldn't carry the team against Kamara and Kelce.  That makes two years since their championship season, all but a memory.  The win for ACL secured the first round bye for the team, which is a lucky thing now that Kamara's in the concussion protocol.

The Ddy's beat out the bEARs in a close 3pt matchup, guaranteeing their spot in the playoffs for the first time since 2015.  Runner Runner lost their bout with the eliminated Nutts, not great for team morale going into the post-season.

Round 1 Preview

Things are not off to a great start for the Ddys, with Ginn only putting up 2pts off a single reception.  The team did luck out, though, as they're facing a Gronkless E-Munnies team forced to start rookie OJ Howard.  Despite Ginn's gooseegg, the teams are only projected 2 pts apart, so this one is gonna be a sweat all the way to the Monday New England game, in which Brady should make short work of Miami.

It's so weird seeing the bEARs lineup and Brees on the bench.  With the fires threatening the LA/Philly game, it may backfire this week.  Runner Runner has started the week off relatively strong with a comfortable 14pts out of Freeman, who's been shaky at best since getting hurt.  That said, the bEARs are the projected favorites going into the weekend, and historically they've never fallen short of the second round.

With holidays and kids and families and moves, I know you are all extremely busy these days.  But I appreciate you all continuing to check in on this league and gunning for the trophy.  It's a silly thing, but I hope you are all having as much fun as I am.  Good luck to the playoff teams!
