Week 15

Both playoff matchups ended excruciatingly close!  The bEARs bid for a second 'ship fell short by 3pts, as the Munnies sacrificed Mike Evans to advance to round 2. Meanwhile the Zombies put up the 2nd highest score of the week, only to find themselves up against the top scorer, who pulled off the win in the last drive of an OT Monday Night game, as Sanders caught one last reception to put The Futures over the top.  A brutal end for a surprising turnaround season from the Zombies.

Round 2 Preview

The Nutts lost Ridley on their bye.  While not exactly comparable to the Munnies loss of Evans, it may play a part in the team's first playoff appearance.  As one of only two remaining former champions, the Munnies need Jackson to keep doing what he's been doing to secure their run at being the first 2-time winner.

It's deja vu all over again, as we revisit the inaugural championship matchup.  Though the Futures' Bortles/Arob stack ended the dreams of ACL almost 4 years ago to the day, it's still very fresh on their owner's mind.  Will this finally be their chance at redemption?  Can they put an end to their years-long drought of almost-but-not-quite?  Will CMC just calm the fuck down for once?

In Rodgers' name, we pray.

Four teams left, half have tasted victory while half have only ever looked on in envy.  Bundle up, fellas, it might get bitter cold around here before long.
