Week 4

Better late than never, right?  It's a good thing I didn't do a blog last week, because I'm not sure I would've been able to call that Ddy's upset over the TDs!  Morale on the team must've just been too low after losing AB...again.  I did want to take a moment to point out the difference between our divisions.  The current highest point scorer in Newizona is the tEDDy bEARs at 365pts.  The current lowest point scorer in Colorexico is the defending champ, Doctor B at 369pts.  Let that sink in for a moment.

Week 3 Review

Nailbiters defined this week, with a couple of matches going down to Monday night within 4pt differences.  Land O' Nutts defeated the E-Munnies by 3pts, securing their spot at the top of the divisional standings.  I haven't gone back to check, but this might be the first time the team has ever achieved that.  ACL pulled off a 4pt victory over the unlucky-as-always Zombies.

Elsewhere the Futures defeated the bEARs with another dominant performance by CMC, while Doctor B put an end to Reek's early season run, largely thanks to Wilson putting up almost 50pts on his own.

Week 4 Preview

It's Minshew time!  Hot take: The Ddys make it to the second round of the playoffs this year riding Uncle Rico's back.  Chubb and Nuk ain't got nothing.

Who'd have guessed that when we got to this matchup, both teams would be sitting at 0-3?  Worse still, one of them is gonna start the season 0-4.  Not a great way to open up a season.  As is tradition, the TDs have gone into this week with a couple inactives in their starting lineup.  Sure is great watching them press their luck on remembering to fix it before Sunday morning!

This will likely be Reek's last chance to rely on Ekeler's ridiculous start to a season.  With Melvin back in the mix he'll have to make some difficult RB choices next week.  The Futures go into the week as 5pt favorites.

ACL would be pretty excited about their start to the week, with Rodger putting up 32pts already; but they should be worried about facing the QB who nearly broke 50 last week.  No Barkley is also a pretty rough blow as they take on the defending champs.

The undefeated Nutts take on the 0-3 Zombies.  The matchup is only a 3pt projected difference, so hopefully this is another one that comes down to the wire!  We always want to win, but I imagine these two teams want it most of all this week.  The Nutts desperate to maintain the lead in their division, the Zombies desperate just to put something on the board!

I apologize about missing last week, fellas!  I'd feel worse but I had to watch Green Bay lose with some pretty questionable playcalls last night...so....meh.  Still <3, though!
