Well, as unlikely as it seemed in the summer, here we are at the 2020 dynasty playoffs! It's been a rocky road with delayed games and COVID designations, but six teams were able to battle their way to this year's endgame. ACL and the bEARs were able to secure the byes, so week 14 will see Land O'Nutts facing off against the defending champs in The Futures, while Reek's Revenge takes on Doctor B.
Sadly, this means the Munnies, Zombies, Ddys and Tds will be walking away empty-handed, save for some early picks next season. This offseason we will have to visit the bylaws and discuss if change is needed (for the first time in 6 years) in response to the intentional tanking that occurred. Technically the move wasn't against any rules in our bylaws, but it's something I think needs addressed as I have seen what happens if intentional throwing of games is allowed to continue long term. I will introduce some options when we get past the championships that we should consider (the best of which is using potential points to determine non-playoff draft order, which eliminates any benefit from throwing games).
