Week 11

Alright, we're gonna have to talk about Sicarios.  This is worse than anything the TDs did last season.  Derek Carr, TY Hilton, and Jaye Howard all either on bye or out due to injury last week, and all three in the Sicarios starting lineup.  Come on, man.  You can park Vincent Jackson on IR and pick up a random QB for the week, and could easily sub out the others.  Don't give people free wins, really ruins the competitiveness of the league.  Set your lineups, people!

Week 10 Review

So aside from the atrocious performance from Sicarios, we had quite a few high scores this week.  The TDs absolutely obliterated ACL with an impressive 175pt score.  Even though ACL put up the second highest score of the week, they couldn't stand up to that.

The tEDDy bEARs were tired of being near the bottom of their division and have stepped up their game.  They defeated Land O'Nutts, which puts the latter team in a desperate spot gunning for the playoffs.  The win moved the bEARs into second in the division, even surpassing the TDs through tie-breakers.  They are now only one win behind the E-Munnies to take the divisional bye.

Speaking of, would you look at that?  The E-Munnies lost at the hands of the previously 1-8 BgDkDdy.  When Brady struggles, so too the Munnies.  And even though the Ddy's are out of contention for the top 4 playoff spots, there is still a remote chance they can get a wildcard.  It would take some interesting developments, but they aren't out of it yet!  (neither are you, Sicarios)

Runner Runner's defeat of Sicarios has them tied, yet again, with ACL for the divisional lead.  ACL still holds the tie-breaker, but it'll go down to the last weeks to see who takes the bye.

The Futures find themselves looking at a 3-7 record after losing to Julio and Friends.  Only a win ahead of both Sicarios and BgDkDdy, the team's better days are behind them.  They still have a shot at a wildcard, as well, but they'll need the Friends and Nutts to struggle in the next few weeks to pull it off.

Week 11 Preview

These two teams are tied over the last two games they've played.  The fact that one of those times was for a championships still weighs heavily on ACL's mind.  This season has not been as kind to The Futures, though they still have hope for one of those crucial wildcard spots.  They are without two of their IDP starters, so likely will be hitting free agency to field a full lineup, as they'll need to win out to make that late-season push.

The TDs, despite putting up the top score and easily winning their last match, actually lost divisional position as a result of the other matchups last week.  With their wins and points, they will likely make the playoffs no matter what, but they will want to keep putting up big scores to try and regain that position they held most of the season.  Conversely, the Munnies are comign dangerously close to losing what hold they had over the division.  Brady's slump shouldn't last long, however, so this week's matchup should be another close, high-scoring encounter.

Though a longshot to take a divisional playoff spot, Julio and Friends are only a win away from securing one of the wildcards.  Presumably, this should be another easy win for them, but it's hard to say what an actually fully active Sicarios lineup will do.  The Friends can't feel great about being without their namesake.

This week is BgDkDdy's byepocalypse.  Seriously, check out all the red on his bench.  But once again, this has been a team difficult to predict.  The bEARs are knocking on the door for that first round bye, so they would love if the team-that-could-play-spoiler would just lay down and die.

Land O'Nutts may be 2nd-to-last in their division, but they currently hold the 2nd wildcard seat in the playoffs by a single win.  While not the best position to be in, things could certainly be worse.  Runner Runner needs the win to maintain the race with ACL, and potentially even surpass them to take the division.  Under such circumstances, it's only fitting that Goff get his first start in both real life and fantasy.

Three weeks remain in the regular season, which can change a lot as we wind down to the playoffs.  With no teams yet mathematically eliminated, it's still anyone's game.
