Week 7

ACL and TDs continue to break away from the rest of their respective divisions, but everyone else is still very much in the hunt, (yep, even you, Zombies).  The 3-way tie in Colorexico should make for some riveting rivalries as we head into the second half of the season.  Meanwhile in Newizona only a single game separates the bottom 4 teams.

Week 6 Review

A couple of blowouts sent the Ddys and Zombies packing last week, the latter of which at the hands of the E-Munnies who are finally putting together a winning streak after their abysmal start to the season.  Runner Runner came out swinging and put up the league high score with the help of 70pts out of Mahomes and Gurley.  As predicted, Powell didn't do much to help fill that flex spot, but it didn't end up mattering.

Doctor B put an end to the unlikely streak of wins from Land O'Nutts.  The latter's 58% efficiency rating didn't help things.  The Futures made a valiant effort against Show Me Your TDs, but once again Cooper screwed the team over.  He'll be a hard start moving forward, luckily his bye this week will make the decision a bit easier for the Futures' coach.

Week 7 Preview

Once Runner Runner finds their kicker for the week, this matchup will be projected even.  Once again it looks like the TDs will be bailed out of their Bell situation by Yeldon.  Somehow I'm guessing that Fournette's gonna get better the exact week Bell returns.  Even so, the team will be without Antonio Brown, giving Runner the window they need to break the tie and secure 2nd place in the division.

Fantasy can be funny sometimes.  Before the season started I don't think anyone would feel confident with Phillip Lindsay and Ito Smith as their RB1 and RB2, yet here we are.  Freeman's off to IR, making Ito a solid start for the Ddys rest of season.  The Zombies are projected 8pt underdogs, if they could just catch a break they might be able to start clawing their way back out of the basement.

Byes abound, so I'm not sure what this matchup will ultimately be projected, but it's not likely to be a pretty one for the Nutts.  They'll have to make some much better start/sit decisions to put a stop to the Cooper-less Futures.

Both 3-3, and in prime position to fight for first in their divisions, these two teams are projected only 2pts apart.  The Munnies are without Davante and Doctor B is without Juju, so all in all it's a far game that won't be decided by bye-week issues.  I want to say that Chicago might give the Brady/Gronk stack a hard time, but then we saw what the great Osweiler was able to do to them last week...so...

ACL has their first tough start/sit decision this week with Rodgers on bye.  Should they go with the top QB draft pick from 2017 or 2018?  Mayfield's been having a great season since taking over in Cleveland, and they are facing a struggling Tampa Bay.  On the other hand, Trubisky will likely be playing from behind against New England for some juicy garbage time points.  The bEARs look to be sticking with Brees this week, and will hope that Thompson isn't too badly hurt.

I'll be out of town this weekend so hopefully I don't get screwed by any Sunday morning inactives.  Good luck, fellas (except for Ted)!
