Week 14

Well folks, that's it for the regular season.  For the playoff picture, Runner Runner was able to win the crucial last game to take the Colorexico bye, while the tEDDy bEARs were able to secure the Newizona side.  The wildcard spots were already known, but it's worth noting that Land O'Nutts were able to handily defeat Show Me Your TDs.  A preview of things to come, perhaps?

For the remaining teams, their loss will not be in vain, as they have secured early draft positions for next year's rookie class.  The draft order as of now will be:

1. BgDkDdy
2. Sicarios
3. The Futures
4. Julio and Friends
5. TBD
6. TBD
7. TBD
8. TBD
9. TBD
10. TBD

Wildcard Week Preview

Despite a slow start and a negative record, Land O'Nutts are only projected as 3pt underdogs to the E-Munnies.  The latter's reliance on New England has been hit or miss as the team has started to move on from their aging vets like Edelman, as well as losing key pieces like Gronk.  However they have found salvation in unlikely places (seriously, Crowder?  Who knew?).

On the other side the Nutts have been hanging on despite losing their projected key RB duo to IR.  McCoy has been carrying the weight admirably, and Riddick has been servicable enough with his receptions.  With no depth to speak of, the team's chances rely on them avoiding any major injury through the next few weeks.

ACL's crushing loss has humbled the team, as seemingly every coaching decision last week proved the wrong one.  ARob, Miller, and Olsen are crucial pieces of the offense, and when they falter the whole team suffers.  On top of that, Rodgers takes on the Seattle defense this week.  In a stunning turn of events, ACL have become the underdogs and TDs are the dominant favorites.

The TDs have enjoyed a season of riding the Steelers to win after win.  The Rams could learn a thing or two from them about how to turn a losing team into a winner with a simple change in coaching.  In spite of their sudden competitiveness, the TDs have suffered a few surprising losses in the weeks leading up to the playoffs.  They will need to not lose sight of the title now that they've finally made the big show.

Congratulations, once again, to the six teams who have made it to the playoffs.  Good luck, and may the best team (and best new home for the trophy) win!
