Week 11

There aren't many worse feelings in fantasy than being the 2nd highest scoring team, and still losing.  I got season 1 championship flashbacks from that one.  A couple more teams joined the Ddys in being eliminated from bye contention, though nobody is yet outright eliminated from playoffs so that's pretty cool.  That being said, as we head toward the final three weeks of the regular season it's the time where teams will start dropping off.

Week 10 Review

I can't even be mad at my team since they performed amazingly...I can only be mad at the Futures 90% coaching efficiency...bastards.  The E-Munnies continue their winning streak, up to 6 weeks now, against the team currently in the lead of their division.  The TDs had space to pick up an active LB and elected not to do that...but in the end it didn't make much of a difference.  Carr continues to do no favors for the Zombies (or the Raiders), and Doctor B easily took advantage.  Look for the Zombies to address their QB issues in the offseason and/or draft.

70pts between Brees and Chubb made it a rough time for anyone who'd have faced the bEARs, much less the last place Ddys.  Even with the beautiful 3TD Luck/Ebron stack, it wasn't enough.  Which brings us to possibly the ugliest matchup of the week, between Runner Runner and Land O'Nutts.  The Nutts started the inactive Watkins and also lost Kupp early to a season-ender, however they were still able to pull it off largely due to the byes and injuries on the Runner roster.  It's just been a rough season for the usually dominant team.

Week 11 Preview

Two former champions, each a game away from division lead, and a single point spread.  Gentlemen, this is gonna be a fun one.  The Futures will look to take advantage of drawing the Munnies during New England's bye.  At the same time, it would've been fun seeing Michel scoring against his biggest fan.

It'll be Atlanta's receiver corps vs. Denver's in this matchup.  The Ddy's are favored, but we've seen time and again how little that matters with the Nutts.  They currently sit in the 6th seed with the last wildcard spot, but they'll have to fight to maintain that position with the bEARs only a single game away.

Speaking of, they are 40pt favorites against the defense-less TDs this week.  The TDs got some rough news going into this week, with the final nail in the Bell coffin driven in with his failure to sign the franchise tag.  The team had such a strong start to the season that they still sit atop their division, but it might prove difficult for them to stave off the E-Munnies overtaking them.

Runner Runner needs to win out to have a shot at the playoffs, while Doctor B needs a win to tie for the division lead.  This writer has a vested interest in the latter not happening, so hopefully the Runners come to play this week!  They'll need ARob to repeat his performance from last week to pull it off.

ACL are 50pt favorites over the Zombies this week, which seems....hyperbolic?  They are without Flash Gordon this week, so will be hoping that Davis finally has one of his big weeks while he's actually in the starting lineup.  The Zombies are pretty solid at receiver this week, it's that pesky quarterback that will likely be their problem, again.

I just want to remind everyone, again, that nobody is yet mathematically eliminated, so please don't give up.  Keep setting those lineups, and keep your opponents honest!  Also, I will try to get a post out next week, but Thanksgiving may throw off my plans so if I don't get one out, happy Turkey Day everyone!
