Week 9

I guess it didn't matter whether I talked shit or sung their praises, Land O'Nutts just does what they want.  Pulling off the "upset", they've worked their way to a tenuous playoff spot, and put an end to ACL's 6 game winning streak.  Losses from the Ddys and bEARs have resulted in a 3-way tie for last place along with the unfortunate Zombies.  Those teams are starting to fall out of it, so will need to make some major changes if they still want a chance at playoffs this season.

Week 8 Review

Seriously, AP?  How are you still playing so well?  Just retire already, damnit.  The Nutts had 100% coaching efficiency this week.  Seriously...100%.  That's basically impossible.  You should use your time machine to win the lottery, not to put up the weekly top score in a fantasy league.

The Futures predictably crushed the Ddys, and the TDs just barely pulled off a win against the Zombies despite...starting...another...inactive...player.  Runner Runner put up a decent week but ran into a monster 150pts from the Munnies; and finally, Doctor B crushed the bEARs who yet again made the wrong QB choice.  It was a week of patterns, fellas!

Week 9 Preview

Can the Nutts be stopped?  Projections be damned, they could win the whole thing!  Inactive LB?  Who cares?  They could probably have a randomizer program set their lineup and still pull off the win.  The bEARs look to be starting Brees at home, but who knows how that plays out.  The bigger question is probably how many targets will DT take from Nuk his first game on the Texans (hilariously playing against the Broncos in Denver).

No inactives in the lineup this week, of course.  The TDs will seek to assert their dominance over the other division leader while continuing their 7 week winning streak.  ACL are short their Saquon/OBJ stack this week, so even as projected favorites they are far from their full strength against their strongest opponent.  They'll be forced to again rely on Flash (please stop showing up late to work, you moron!).

Doctor B won the last time these two teams faced off, and if they pull off the win again they will beat out the Futures in a tiebreaker for 2nd in the division, while the Futures are a game away from the division lead.  So a lot at stake!  The Futures are without DJ this week, which might be a blessing.  Doctor B is without AJG, and currently have Jordan Howard plugged in the flex spot in his place.  A risky play, but the byes don't leave them much choice.

All the inactive players, batman!  It's hard to project this matchup as both sides have incomplete rosters set currently, but hopefully the owners figure it out before kickoff!  The wildcard spots are still achievable for either team, but they'll need to shake off the disappointment from last week's losses to do so.  Runner Runner has had a rough string of IR hits to their starters, and now how the question of DT's new role on a new team.  The Zombies play a fun game of Russian roulette with their QB choice!  Beathard or Carr, what fun.

The Munnies are on a 4 game winning streak, but are still 2 games behind the TDs for division lead.  They're gonna have to keep the run going if they want a shot at that bye.  Edelman's return came at a good time with Gronk struggling to put up fantasy numbers and also dealing with that pesky back injury again.  The Ddys get to start another Bronco this week!  With DT's departure, Courtland Sutton has a chance to make a big impact right away.  Seriously, though, they should start Case and the Munnies should start Gronk so we can just call this game Denver vs. New England.

It's a rough bye week for everyone, so most of these matches are gonna be decided by the deeper benches.  Keep on those waivers, boys, and shake off that Halloween hangover!
